JORDI CANTOS

Jordi Cantos is a sound explorer and multi-instrumentalist born in Barcelona. His musical journey began in 2011 when he first heard the Handpan.

In 2012 Jordi get his first Handpan and moves to Ibiza where he starts a big chapter of his musical and personal development. In 2016 he moved to Mallorca where he released his first album "First Journey" (2017). Self-taught, Jordi has been exploring different ways of playing the Handpan. His style combines a unique sensitivity full of textures with a groovy rhythm.

In 2018 he traveled to Mexico where he met incredible and inspiring artists. Jordi explored other percussions, string and wind instruments and started to play in sound journeys. In 2020 in Tulum (Mexico) Jordi met the musician Alex Serra and through many adventures between Mexico and Ibiza they have built a strong and inspiring brotherhood. Jordi participates in Alex album "Trance Life" (2023). Alex is coproducing Jordi's new album "Wavespell"  which is about to be released soon.

The album features artists like Alex Serra, Facesoul, Ape Chimba and many more. Recorded in Ibiza and Bali, mixed by Totidub, Wavespell invites you to relax, travel inwards, meditate and connect to the present.
